The Living Way Reformed Presbyterian Church is committed to the faithful preaching of God’s Word, believing that “The spirit of God makes the reading, but especially the preaching of the word an effectual means of enlightening, convincing, and humbling sinners; of driving them out of themselves, and drawing them unto Christ; of conforming them to his image, and subduing them to his will; of strengthening them against temptations and corruptions; of building them up in grace, and establishing their hearts in holiness and comfort through faith unto salvation.” (Westminster Larger Catechism Q&A 155).
God is jealous for His worship. The Second Commandment demands we worship Him only as He has commanded—no additions, no images, no will-worship.
God named Cyrus 150 years before he was born to prove one thing: “I am the LORD, and there is no other.” The First Commandment demands we know, worship, and glorify Him alone.
A lame beggar asks for money, but Peter gives him something far greater: “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!” Watch a lifetime of misery turn to leaping joy.
Acts 2:42–47 – What the earliest church devoted themselves to: teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer. A model of joyful, generous, simple Christian community.
The moral law of God is still binding on all people and all believers. It is written on every heart and will be the final standard of judgment.
